The Buddy Holly Center, a historical site, has dual missions; preserving, collecting and promoting the legacy of Buddy Holly and the music of Lubbock and West Texas, as well as providing exhibits on Contemporary Visual Arts and Music, for the purpose of educating and entertaining the public. The vision of the Buddy Holly Center is to discover art through music by celebrating legacy, culture and community.

    There was some stuff to do my kids enjoyed it and we had a good time, but after 30 minutes there it gets very boring!  more »

    Very enjoyable experience. The museum presents memorabilia and history in a pleasant environment. Plenty of room and time to linger and revisit stations. It's a great tribute to Buddy Holly, the Crickets, and many other musicians from the era and Texas.

    The Concerts on The Patio are so nice. Having the food trucks and drink station set up are, also nice. Throughout the summer, they had awesome performers. Today was Patricia Vonne and Robert LaRoche. They were totally awesome and entertaining!! The Buddy Holly Center, itself, is amazing and informative, if you know little about Buddy Holly. Well worth attending.
