The southern Californian community of Venice has for decades been famous for its vibrant subcultures and offbeat way of living, and Venice Beach and Boardwalk is no exception. One of Los Angeles’ most legendary spots, the beach is packed with people from all walks of life. Stroll along the boardwalk to pass numerous street performers, food stalls, and artists selling their wares. You can also watch anglers on the fishing pier, surfers battling the swell, and some of LA’s fittest residents working out at Muscle Beach. Make sure you leave enough time to sunbathe on the soft sand and dip your toes in the Pacific Ocean. A visit to Venice Beach and Boardwalk represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Los Angeles trip builder app to plot your vacation.

Very beautiful beach. As we were there in Oct 2019, it wasn´t too busy either. It´s everything you´ve seen in films and/or TV :) (the trip was made in Oct 2019, not 2020) more »

I liked the bohemian vibe of this place at first, but it also was very shady and dirty and it smelled like urine. We couldn’t walk ten feet without people asking for money. I was excited to visit Muscle Beach but there was no one there. The street art was pretty cool though.

The culture, the vibe, the beach, the talent the skateboarding peeps have, the roller skating vibes, the rich personalities people have, so much talent in this humble, hustling community, a place where every single soul has something to offer with their uniqueness. Y'all keep doing You! Yeah, I am from Texas! I loved this spot, great vibes. 🍍☺
