This was a great find. Really enjoyed the tour and a great cup of coffee and pie in the restored Sasso's diner. I highly suggest a visit here. more »

This museum is set in an old stone house, just outside of Latrobe. There is a fee for the tour, but it is worth it. You will learn about the early days of the highway and the many attractions that were and are along the road. They have a restored diner in the newest part of the facility along with a motel cabin, and car. At the end of the tour, you will be treated to coffee and pie. Be sure to stop, when in the area.

A bit pricey for what it is,but the money goes to a good cause. No options for non-coffee drinkers at the end. A nice homage to road trips.
