Launiupoko Beach Park, Lahaina

What a beautiful beach park! I’m so glad I found this place. There is a good amount of parking in the main lot, and across the street. There are bathrooms and a place to rinse off outside. There are also plenty of picnic tables - some with bbqs. The setting is beautiful too. There’s a sandy beach area and grassy areas too. I love that this park offers a ton of shady areas! It also has black sand which I hadn’t seen at other beaches. I saw people surfing in some areas, and body boarding in others. There were tons of families - especially with little babies here. It seemed like a mix of locals and tourists. It was a nice calm vibe and I’ll definitely be back.

This is a great beach to come and visit with your little ones. They had a man made break, so that it formed a big Sea pool essentially, with minimal waves, and deep enough for the kids to explore. There were some kids snorkeling, and I heard there were some fish there too.
