Never been and enjoyed the price of the ticket! I was kind of surprised at how "adult" this event was. I would totally come back with my son on Scouts day but not sure how kid friendly this place... more »

We have been coming here for 25 years. It used to be the highlight of my Summer. The staff was dedicated, the vendors carried interesting items. The actors always had something delightfully funny and risque to say. Clothing was revealing but themed for the period. Then, some years ago, there was a troop of Cub Scouts in uniform. I wondered who would think that was a good outing for a group of children? The Faire had changed their whole atmosphere. No more Cod pieces, now they have Scout Day. Definitely was better before they made it so Kid Friendly. The Renaissance feel is gone. No more surprise sword fights. No more historic interaction with the actors. The actors used to be passionate about their roles. Now, they look innocuous and tired.

Great, unique, fairytale, & awesome experience! Do you like theme days, costumes, & Renaissance shows?? This is the place! During the summer each week provides a different costume theme. Feel free to dress up, but not required. Between mini live shows, various shops, food, & booze the faire is so entertaining one can be there from 5-8 hours without being bored. Conducive for adults, teens, and families. Did I mention the random cool fairies that run around? Be sure to stay for the epic jousting tournament at the end. Been attending for 3 years & each year gets better & better.
