Angel Oak Tree reviews
The Angel Oak tree is truly a remarkable site to see but if I must be completely honest, don't plan your entire day around it. You could sit in the general area and enjoy your lunch, let the kids run around for a little bit but there is not much here to do other then take pictures of the tree and visit the gift shop. Admission is free and you don't have to go through the gift shop to go in and out of the park like you do at a lot of places. Parking is limited but because people are in and out so quickly there usually isn't much trouble finding a spot. If you do find there is no parking, circle the block or take a 3-5 min drive somewhere and come back; parking turn over is pretty quick. This is a nice place to stop before or after visiting Firefly Distillery or the Charleston Tea Plantation. Hope you enjoy it!
A true natural treasure! We only stopped by for about 20 minutes, but I could've easily spent an entire day there. The tree is phenomenal; pictures and words can not do justice. This is definitely something to check out if you're ever in the area!!!
