  • Fun park to take a day trip. Hikes vary from easy to strenuous, especially if you take the longer trails. Luther Rock is a good place for views, I wish my wife and I could have made it to the trail that goes through a virgin forest, but we had to cut our day short because of rain. The summit trail is mostly a "Hey I hiked to the top of Mount Jefferson" because there's no views there. The sunset, sunrise and Jefferson views are worth stopping at to get pictures, great mountain/city views.
  • Great hiking location. Did the summit trail, the rhododendron trail and the lost province trail. All totaled just over 3 miles. Trails are moderate with a little bit of elevation change. The summit trail doesn't give much in the way of views with a lot of trees. Head for Luther Rock for the best views. There are 3 overlook pulloffs on the road up.
