  • We unfortunately didn't have a lot of time to explore the Columbus River Gorge area but this was a nice stop. The view of the lower falls was very easy to get to and with a short hike we were able...  more »
  • The first of many Falls we stopped at while in Oregon. As stated by everyone, Parking is right there, short walk, beautiful Falls.  more »
  • From Horsetail Falls, there is a trailhead to Upper Falls (Ponytail). It's just half a mile of slightly steep switchbacks until it opens to a waterfall you can walk behind. The trail is closed beyond this due to landslides. It's a lovely, short, & sweet hike.
  • Only kid friendly for grade school level and above. Narrow rocky trail with steep drop offs. If children are responsible type who listen when you explain the dangers, it is good hike. Pretty steep. But trail stops just past upper Horse Tail Falls. Cannot reach Ponytail Falls at this time.
