Downtown Hickory Farmers Market Reviews
For being a small town this farmers market was amazing. I was on vacation but we had a home and planned to prepare meal so the variety was wonderful. Honey, flowers, vegatables and fruits. But... more »
Love it. Every chance I get, I’m there buying my organic vegetables and bakery items. Love browsing. more »
Hickory farmers market is ok nothing elaborate but fun. You can see handmade items made from wood, soap, paintings, and veggies. The veggies do cost more money at the farmers market than they cost in a grocery store. Ex:okra was $2.40 give or take a few cents. However, the veggies are grown locally too. You have to do what is right for you. We arrived at 11:45AM and they close at 1PM so it wasn't bad. If you never been to a farmers market then you might enjoy going to see what they have.
I love this place with the variety of offerings and the friendly vendors. My favorite vendors are Daphne's produce, Russell's meats, The Blue Goat Dairy and Kim's Bakery.
