They do a very nice job with this two hour boat tour of the Gates of the Mountains. We saw several bald eagles and some sheep. The ride is comfortable, relaxing and educational. more »

Our family was driving between national parks and stopped at Gate of the Mountains for the boat tour. We enjoyed the ride with our captain Brian. It’s an out and back trip and the captain informed and entertained us on the way out. He shared information about the Lewis and Clark Expedition, the Mann Gulch fire, plants and animals in the area, and the history of the settlers that started the boat tours.

My husband and I had been before and enjoyed it so much, we took my mother. Very informational, educational and fun!! Great for all ages! The ride is smooth, the guides are awesome, and the scenery is beautiful! We saw several bald eagles this trip. We will most definitely be back again. Next year we want to do the bat tour!
