What a beautiful spot. Off the beaten path and a pure joy to visit. We were there in November so none of the lavender was in bloom but the plants all looked healthy and abundant. The small shop... more »

We visited the Lavender Farm this afternoon (4 kids aged 4-10 and 3 adults). Was a lovely spot away from the crowds - staff were all lovely and kind. Bought very nice little gifts and sachets filled with marvelous lavender. Was expecting a bit more of a 'farm' with larger fields and details about the lavender and plants. Also - lots of local trails around shop without clear guides or markings - would have been neat to have had a trail map or markings to help to make for a small walk for the kids.

I bought several products there last week: soap, lotion, massage oil, sachets, and facial toner. When I used the toner it smelled funky so I thought maybe we got a bad bottle so I brought it back. The people working there smelled it and said that's how it's supposed to smell and that it's not made for it's scent. I thought that's strange because I didn't think I would have bought it since the smell was so strange. Sure enough, the sample bottle smelled great, just like lavender. All of the bottles for sale smelled different than the sample bottle! I asked if I could exchange it for another product. They did let me, but not without a lot of nasty attitude (sighs, and "just so you know, it's not made for the scent"). I don't care how good your products are if you treat your customers like they're annoying you, I'll take my business elsewhere. It's called bait and switch when the product you get is different than the sample, and it's illegal. I should have gotten a refund and an apology, but instead I got attitude.
