WOW. Loved this place... the pictures we saw online do not do it justice at all! The observation trail is not too hard... wasn't too crowded... and each view along the loop is better than the last... more »

Its absolutely beautiful and fascinating. The thought that there used to be an ocean there 360 million years ago is mind blowing. I live in Hardin county Illinois were this is at and I've seen it many a times the best thing is it never gets old.

This place is magical! Nothing beats the views. We visited last month with our 4.5 year old daughter and felt even she could see pretty much everything. Easy to find with lots of signage. Trails are easy and takes you through a nice loop of stuff to see. A little more adventurous climbing around will show off just how amazing this area is!
