Tomasello Winery is a winery located in Hammonton in Atlantic County, New Jersey. Tomasello is the second-oldest active winery in the state, after Renault Winery. The vineyard was first planted in 1888, and opened to the public in 1933 after the end of Prohibition. Tomasello is one of the largest winegrowers in New Jersey, having 70 acres of grapes under cultivation, and producing 65,000 cases of wine per year. Although the winery is in Hammonton, most of the grapes are grown on three vineyards in the neighboring Winslow Township in Camden County. The winery is named after the family that owns it.

  • Tomasello's winery is hands down the best venue to have a wedding. From the moment we arrived on Sunday for our wedding the staff was amazing. Dana and Lisa were wonderful to work with from the beginning to the end, and Dana was with us from start the finish. Everything was beautiful the outside pergola, the cocktail hour and the reception. My guest are still calling me to let me know how amazing the food was and the courteous and fun staff. They made my wedding day perfect I cant thank them enough!!
  • I have been to Tomasello's twice now and both times I have not enjoyed myself. The winery is a good beginner winery for those just starting into wines. Unfortunately the wines are mediocre and not complex. The ice wine is more of a sweet white and not a true ice wine. The experience would have been more pleasurable if the server was more polite and talkative. Their was an older couple served in front of us and she was pleasant with them, but as soon as we went to be served her attitude changed. I will not be going back and I do not reccomend going to this winery for a tasting if you're looking for a full bodied wine and a relaxing atmosphere do not go here.
