  • Really nice National Park. We went in the winter, and it wasn't crowded at all. The family walked up the sand dunes, part ways, and experienced them in all their glory. It would have been nice to be there when the water is flowing, but there was still snow on the ground, so we were too early. Only one grumpy Park Ranger, and he just may have appeared that way because the young women that swore the boys in as Junior Rangers, was over the top sweet and engaging.
  • Awesome location for a day drive. We took our dogs to the sand dunes and had a great chance to see the sights. The dunes are very windy in March, but if it is sunny, it should be great! We took our jeep renegade on the mosca trail for a bit and got to see some great parts of the park that are less traveled! If we had the chance we would have camped out. Amazing park!!
