The Grays River Covered Bridge is a one-lane covered bridge over the Grays River in western Wahkiakum County, Washington. It is the only covered bridge still in use as a public highway in Washington State. The bridge was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1971.

    Just off the highway lies Grays River Covered Bridge...the only covered bridge in Washington State that is still in use. Built in 1905 and covered in 1906 so livestock wouldn't slip on the wet...  more »

    We drove 2 1/2 hours just to see this bridge drove down 101 then 4 nice treed drive lots of trees driving over the bridge was great we got out and the kids loved walking on it looking at every bit.....  more »

    This is the last historic covered bridge in Washington. Great to see and drive over. This is a very short distance off of WA 4 in SW Washington.

    Used to live by the Grays River, any six miles west of the Bridge, nice to be there for a visit. Beautiful weather, was fun.
