I cannot say enough great things. The hike is moderate and you can go up lower if upper falls. The ranger is the friendliest I ever met - GO KEVIN! And the groundskeeper (Leslie) always has a smile and is super friendly. The cabins are clean and spacious and very well laid out. There are bathrooms and showers for cabin renters, and an amphitheater as well. There are (5) cabins, 2 of them pet friendly. I come every year and don’t plan on stopping!
Stunning and simply majestic place to be! We went on a weekday so the trail and parking was not busy, the office was closed when we aren’t but luckily few minutes after couple staff member came to afternoon rounds, the was very accommodating, informative and helpful. The trail towards the fall was well maintained and they have safety signs posted. Hike started from easy, to moderate but as going towards peak was steep a little difficult but manageable with extra care. You need to bring some insect repellent as there are insects and mosquitoes but overall the visit was worth it!!
