Crescent Creek Park, Gig Harbor

My little nephew loved this place! Very cool and unique play structures. They even have a swing for wheel chairs. I think one of the most creative ideas is how the play structure is shaped like a boat, with a rather large sandbox right next to it so it looks like a ship that has just hit shore. There are picnic facilities and a large play field also so if you have dogs or older children who may just be interested in other activities there is tons of room and potential.

This is a great park for younger children. The large sandbox is always a hit, as is the swings and the big tugboat to climb on. It's fully fenced and includes a huge, grassy field, which is also fun to run around in and pick daisies or crunch leaves, depending on the season. Nice bathroom that is always clean is nearby. On our most recent visit, the playground was roped off for a certain period of time and there was no obvious reason why. It was the nicest day of the year so far, so that was a disappointment. Still curious about why that would be the case. All in all, a good park for the 7-under set.
