    You can just drive into the small parking area and look around, but the best way to see historic Garten Verein is to find a concert or public event to attend. The venue is used almost daily, so...  more »

    This park is Galveston history long ago before the great storm of 1900 men and women would dance the night away to music in the verin during the great storm many were swept to this park they hung for dear life unto the branches of the old oak trees Issac Cline washed up on the building! His three daughters with him bodies of the dead were also swept throughout the park
