  • I always love to visit the battlefield. I go very early in the morning and it is always neat and clean. The Kirkland Monument is my favorite.
  • Interesting history here. A major site for civil war buffs. I am amazed that so many of the original structures have survived. That makes it so much easier to visualize the historic events that took place here. The visitor's center movies provide context, so be sure to include them during your vidit. A great place to take kids and out of town visitors.
