Jerimoth Hill (812 ft, 247 m) is the highest point in the U.S. state of Rhode Island. Located in the town of Foster in the northwest of the state, the site is used as an observatory. It is also a popular destination for highpointers, and prior to 2005 was known for being difficult to access due to a local landowner who prohibited entry.

  • You go to Jerimoth Hill to say you did it, to say you reached a state high point. Park your car, walk a couple hundred feet and take some pictures on the rock that is the high point. There is no view....  more »
  • We're attempting to climb the high points of several states. This one is kind of laughable. A pleasant enough very short walk. Not worth a special trip.  more »
  • It's cool being a highpoint and all but that's really it. They do a good job of keeping the place clean. An easy highpoint to achieve!
