  • A look at the history of Flagstaff logging with emphasis on the Riordan family. The volunteer tour guide was excellent, and we loved the look back into the late 1800's. Well worth seeing.  more »

  • Loved walking through this mansion. What a beautiful Catholic family that lived here. It is 100% not haunted like others try to say. I was intrigued by the supposed "haunted" label, but realized as soon as we went inside, it was the house of a holy and good family. Quiet, peaceful, a Crucifix and holy pictures in every room. It was a pleasure to see and decorated just as it would have been 80 years ago! Our tour guide Marilyn was very knowledgeable. So glad I saw this mansion.
  • Admittedly, it looked a little boring, but I was pleasantly surprised by the history and how the functional architecture blended with the natural surroundings. It was actually fun learning and seeing how people lived back when life was both simpler and more trying. The VOLUNTEER tour guides were very well informed and ready to answer any question. What I though was going to be a quick stop in Flagstaff turned out to be a couple hours of wonder and awe.
