    I found this on a blog while looking for places to hike. we parked on Hole-in-the Rock road by the corrals and hiked up harris walk x 2 miles, then up the canyon a short ways. We did the 1st slot...  more »

    You can approach this from the top( Sheffield road) or the bottom( Hole in the Rock) road. I did the bottom. It was about 4.5 miles from Highway 12 to the "parking lot." You should see a corral to...  more »

    Experience just about most features of GSENM in Bighorn. Remote. No water. Combine with Harris Wash and you can then check out Zebra Slot. You must be comfortable with your route finding/navigation skills if you choose to head back to the trailhead directly NNW from Zebra Slot. Can be strenuous, but well worth the effort.
