Brackett's Landing South, Edmonds

This is a beautiful stretch of beach that is big enough to accommodate a lot of people with room for everyone to spread out. The water is shallow at the shoreline (depending on the tide) and kids can wade and play with an adult close by. It's great fun to watch the ferries come and go every half hour. This beach is way worth the visit!

Best part of the beach, by far. Bigger than the North end, more tranquil than the furthest south end beach, it's the part i always gravitated to the most whenever i made trips downtown. Not that far from the pier either. Only complaint is the privately owned land that cuts off the walkway midway to the pier. Sure, you can walk through the sand around it, but it can be a real pain in the foot. Still, best part of the Edmonds beach area.
