Ray of Light Farm, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal sanctuary and animal-assisted therapy center committed to helping people make a positive connection with life through our animals.

We aspire to be a "healing presence in a wounded world". Every day we hear about violence, crimes of the heart and crimes of conscience. But we still search for something good, something true. Our greatest accomplishment has been bringing people and animals together, offering something good and true -- for our clients and the community at large.

We rescue and care for neglected, injured, discarded or abused large animals. We also facilitate adoption and placement of rescue animals.

We pair animals with children and adults in ways that improve the physical and emotional well being of horse and human.

This program involves helping veterans through equine therapy. It is an equine driving and groundwork program for all veterans, including those with PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder). Under the leadership of Dave Bradham, a Certified PATH (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship) instructor, the program focuses on harnessing, emergency unloading, ground driving, horse evaluation, and “putting to” the cart.

At Ray of Light, it's not all about the ride. Along with riding instruction, we concentrate on promoting a genuine understanding of animals and how to care for them. We offer: riding instruction (mainly English), Youth and Adult instruction, and Special Needs Instruction.

• Pony Rides and Animal Interaction Area

• Tiny Trotters: Educational program for preschoolers – arts, crafts, “hands-on” interaction with animals.

• Party Room Rental

• Seasonal Events: Holiday Parties, Hayrides, Egg Hunts and more.

• Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides: A relaxing was to revisit our heritage.

• Filly Night: Adult women are introduced to horse care and riding by experienced young riders.

• Spiritual Growth Programs

We are a place for children of all ages. We welcome all who seek a sense of well-being through community with nature.

  • Very cute small farm. It's perfect for kiddos. They offer pony rides Thursday-Saturday. Feeding the goats only costs $1 although you will notice donation boxes throughout so please make sure to bring cash. There are goats, horses, donkeys, chickens, a turkey, pheasant, llamas, turtles and guinea pigs. The staff is very friendly, the barns and paths clean and parking is quite easy. We will definitely be back!
  • The volunteers are extremely knowledgeable about the animals and ready to chat with you anytime. While I was there I saw a kid birthday party, pony rides, and people enjoying the farm.
