  • I took the 2 hour tour of Rolling Hills Asylum and here's my honest feedback. First, I found the tour interesting with Sharon telling the stories of the building. She's clearly very passionate about Rolling Hills Asylum and she paced the tour very well. Some of the more interesting rooms had little plaques with some photos and information which was a really nice touch. What wasn't great was that no video recording was allowed on the tour for some reason. I don't think this was written anywhere when I signed up for the tour. You are allowed to take photos though. Another strange thing was that no LED flashlights were allowed for some reason. Make sure you bring the old MAG non-LED flashlights instead. During the tour, nothing paranormal really happened to me, but prior to the tour, I heard a man faintly groaning while I was parked outside the car waiting. I'm pretty sure it was from inside the building where I was directly parked in front of. While in the waiting room, I saw a dark shadow pass between two windows. Rolling Hills Asylum is definitely worth visiting if you're interested in ghosts. If you expect to have an paranormal experience, you might be disappointed as those are going to be rare. It's still a fascinating place to visit.
  • Fun place to visit and a nice history lesson. You can touch and interact with most of the stuff. I'm not the type of person who is going to see ghost but the owner, who was our tour guide, was an amazing story teller! It was really easy to enjoy the tour, the stories, and the exploring. I highly recommend going.
