  • Great place for family and self fun. If you love the woods and just want to be immersed in it, this is the place. Also if you like swimming in spring waters, that's here too. I would suggest bringing a mask, snorkel and maybe fins if you have them. They rent canoes, have a river tour boat and just plain fun get-away place. No problems with parking. Bring blankets and towels to lay on and dry off. Rest rooms are in good shape. We are going back as many times as we can!
  • Interesting little State Park that is centered around a natural spring swimming hole. There's some historical tidbits from the local area, a nice gift store it also has a restaurant where you cook your own pancakes, they have kayak and canoe rentals and a river boat tour. There's a couple of nice hiking trails through the woods with placards placed for points of interest.
