Dillard Mill State Historic Site, Davisville

This is a beautiful gem in the Missouri Historical Site group. It is really neat to see all the inner workings of the mill well preserved or replaced. We did not stay for the in depth tour, but the self guided area makes for a quick tour. The mill itself is set in a very idyllic place and is post card picture worthy. The staff was very friendly. There is a short path that you have to take from the parking lot to the mill. Be aware that some may not be able to complete this part of the visit. Not sure if you can drive up to the mill if you are disabled though.

A beautiful piece of Missouri. The mill is about 1/4 of a mile away from the parking lot with benches along the way. The path is gravel, and does get a little steep, but once you get there you can go in during open hours. A nice little stop for those who like unique bits of history.
