Visit rare and endangered animals in a natural, outdoor setting at The Wilds. The safari park and conservation center houses animals from around the world like rhinos, giraffes, bison, camels, cheetahs, and other uncommon creatures. The park aims to promote conservation through education and personal experiences with the animals. The nearly 4,000 hectare (10,000 acre) park includes a birding station, and butterfly habitat, and a 10 hectare (27 acre) Carnivore Conservation Center. Over 24 km (15 mi) of mountain biking and hiking trails wind through the park, and it contains more than 150 lakes. Take the basic safari tour to learn about the endangered animals from a knowledgeable guide, or try a tour with one of the park's staff members who will take you through their day-to-day work with the animals. • Amazing experience. We took the Fun Bus here from Columbus and the trip was relaxing. We stayed on the Fun Bus during the safari and our tour guild (name started with a C?) was fantastic and funny. We were able to see all the animals and they looked well cared for. We were all impressed at much care and thought went into the grounds and the animal welfare. Can't wait to come back and do a truck tour.
  • I truly love going here. The animals look like they're well taken care of. It's a really nice experience. The tour is about 2.5 hours and the tour guides are great! They offer different types of tours, but I usually choose the bus tour for 30.00. If you google discounts for the wilds, you can save 10.00 per admission, like I did. It's very beautiful here and sometimes, the animals are close by, so you get a good view of them. Great place!
