You have to get a pass to get on Ft. Sill but it doesn't take long. I had a little trouble finding it, it's way out to the side of the base land, made me think it wasn't very important, but if you're.... more »

why is it next to the ft sill landfill the dead need more respect it wasn't well kept it was hard to find and the locals in Lawton t don't speak to kindly about the Natives more »

The grave is located inside of Fort Sill in Oklahoma. There is an incredible amount of history on Fort Sill. Geronimo's grave is just one of the many graves located in this cemetery. They are in family groups which is very nice. We found it a little hard to find the cemetery since the signs pointing the direction to the cemetery are wrong.

Quiet, secluded area of the base. Cemetery is interesting. Very sobering to see entire families wiped out within just a few years of each other.
