Wonderful views. Great trails with variety of terrain including some scrambling. Bicycles have a great variety of difficulty and technical riding. The Park is large enough to spend two or three days and not being on the same trail. It is very busy during summer weekends and thankfully, there is ample parking. There's a stocked fishing pond that is near the Platte River.
This is a beautiful Park, with abundant water. The North fork of the South Platte runs right through it, and there is a small lake with fishing. The Buffalo Creek recreation area borders to the South, and is easily accessible. Within the park, several paths are hiker only, while still giving bikers access to the South.
