    Fantastic place to see the night sky! If you find yourself in Capitol Reef NP and are an amateur sky gazer ... this overlook is a secluded spot only a mile off Utah Route 24. On the night I went, I was the only one back there which made for a peaceful hour gazing above.

    Great little stop to over look the valley. 360degree views. Great place for sunrise and sunset photos. Just park your car and walk a few hundred feet and you can see all across the valley.
