  • We drove to the top and the $12 fee ($6 pp) is outrageous for starters and so not worth it. The road getting up there is in very poor condition and we almost did damage to our car. Aside from...  more »
  • Mount Battie is a picturesque view of Camden, Maine. if you are a novice hiker take the car! The recent rains have made it a hard hike.  more »
  • The view on the summit is stunning once you navigate the minefield of potholes, bumps, and crumbling pavement leading you there. Shame on Maine for charging a toll and not using same to maintain this road.
  • There are lots of trails available for hiking. But we did not have enough time to hike, so we decided to drive up the lookout point at the top. The view at the top is breathtaking. For anybody who loves photography, it is a must do!
