  • This is a great museum; much bigger than it looks from the highway! Many period buildings, filled with antiques/artifacts. There's a church, school, drug store/soda counter/doctors office, blacksmith, train depot/telegraph office, saloon, barber shop, house, bank, etc. And many cars, prairie schooners, etc. And the two guys that run the place with Maintenance and Sales, were so welcoming, and happy to spend time visiting with us, and show us things we might've missed. If you are crossing I-70, you should stop and tour this museum! It's right beside the rest stop. The front door is on the west side of the building.
  • One of my favorite stops on our trip from UT to MO. The staff was friendly. The museum was full of wonderful antiques; it was an enjoyable step back in time. There was also an empty field in front of the museum to let our dogs out. A perfect stop!
