The Bollinger Mill State Historic Site is a state-owned property preserving a mill and covered bridge that pre-date the American Civil War in Burfordville, Cape Girardeau County, Missouri. The park was established in 1967 and offers mill tours and picnicking. It is managed by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources. It includes the Burfordville Covered Bridge, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

    A definite must stop if your in the area. The Mill wasn't open at the time we were there, but just to walk around the Mill & The covered Bridge is worth the stop. Great Photo Op. Nice Park to have....  more »

    Got here too late to go into mill but enjoyed the covered bridge. There are only 4 covered bridges in MO and I have now seen them all. FYI I didn't have cell phone service (Sprint), I did get some 3G service several miles out, did no LTE until close to Interstate.
