The world's largest urban zoo, Bronx Zoo displays more than 650 different species from across the globe--about 6,000 animals in total. The 107 hectare (265 acre) park features numerous sections and regional themes, including Wild Asia, Madagascar, African Plains, the World of Monkeys, and Tiger Mountain. You'll find a colony of critically endangered western lowland gorillas in their jungle habitat in the Congo Gorilla Forest, which showcases the zoo's commitment to conservation and provides residents with spacious outdoor enclosures. Bronx Zoo Reviews
Aunque es algo costoso el tiquete, vale la pena. Es muy grande así que procure llegar tan pronto abran el zoológico o planee la visita para al menos dos días. Muy recomendable en sus viajes a New York... more »Although the ticket is expensive, it's worth it. It's very big so try to get there as soon as you open the zoo or plan your visit for at least two days. Highly recommended on your trips to New York.

Great zoo with lots to see. Watching the sea lions being fed was fun and interesting. There is a good mix of indoor and outdoor exhibits and many of the indoor exhibits allow strollers but some do require you to park outside. The carousel ride was fun for the kids too. Also: They do allow outside food and there is plenty of chill spots for a picnic in case you don't want to spend more money on food.
We took a group of young couples from our church and it was a nice time! Not as many animals as thought would see but it was a really warm day and good fellowship! Got 10% off when purchased online tickets, overall a great experience and will be returning again. I heard the zoo is free on Wednesday’s so definitely will come back for the freebies! Thank you Bronx Zoo!
