Sometimes it's nice to be able to drive right up to an 11k foot peak. Nice place to take family/friends that might be unable to hike up to a place of this elevation. Great spot to catch some views and take some photos. Possible to get some good views of the stars, meteor showers and milkyway. Haven't seen it too busy. 3 mile road up is easy to drive. Overall, I really like it up there.
Great view from up there. You can see 👀 for miles. temperatures in the mid 60s in the summertime . Nice when you want to get away from the heat.
