  • Camp sites are a little close but are better spaced than most state park sites. I believe all the sites are pull through in campground 2. I have not been to the other campground. Campsites are close to a good swimming area via trail in the woods (campsites 4, 6, 8, 11, 14) Staff is friendly, the beach is decent, and there is a lot of space to hold family events. Fairly quiet and family atmosphere. If you are looking to party I know campground 2 isn't for you. Lots of wildlife. We stayed during the week so there were not many campers. The deer and bunnies come out and don't mind the humans so much.
  • Forty years of riding dirt bikes here, I finally wore the place out. Trails are rough and rocky. I've enjoyed riding here in the past, but it's just too rough on bikes and bodies now.
