  • The Blanding Visitor's Center was one of the best things to happen to us as we travelled through Southern Utah this past summer while visiting the many beautifyl National Parks. IT is head and...  more »
  • This was a very nice rest area to stop at. There is a park in the back you can picnic at. Had battery charger station for battery operated cars. Building was clean and restrooms were nice instead...  more »
  • Truly wonderful visitor's centre with some of the most helpful and informative employees we've ever encountered. Not only could they provide intricate details of top sites and to dos.. But a wealth of "off the beaten track" tips including info on small dirt tracks and regional history. They clearly love their region and that love is infectious. The center also provides clean toilets, maps, brochures and artifacts to view. An assigned adjoining park provides several undercover picnic tables and a playground.
  • We were driving thru Blanding Utah while on vacation. I somehow threw away my denture bridge, while emptying some candy wrappers away. About 3 hours later, some 200 miles down the road was when I realized what had happened. Needless to say, this was about to put a wet damper on what was a great vacation. Pulled up the google maps, located the visitors center, and found a phone number. I talked to a very nice lady, "Deb". I explained what had happen. She took the time to dig thru a couple of trash cans, and found my denture. When she called letting me know she had my denture, needless to say, she saved the day!! She took my mailing information and a couple of days later, my denture was in my mail box. Deb did not have to dig thru the trash, but she did. Not many people would have done so. When I asked her, if I could send her a gift card for her trouble, she said it wasn't necessary. What a nice lady you are Deb, thanks a million.
