You might think wooden chairs aren't comfortable, but a few moments...a few hours... in a Brian Boggs' chair will change that perception. Wonderfully artistic ergonomics hewn from beautiful woods make these special works of art worth seeking out. What a treat to be able to go into the shop and see them being made! What craftsmanship. The tour is casual and well worth a visit. i was especially taken with the rocking chair. This is the sort of furniture that is an immediate family heirloom. Balanced and beautiful.From what I understand, you can be fitted to make sure your comfort is maximized. When touching the smooth silkiness of the hardwood is such a welcome change from the mass produced. They also have an outdoor swing in their reception area that would not be out of place in The Met; or my backyard, for that matter.

Beautiful craftsmanship. Brian's designs are truly special. His attention to detail is exquisite. Taking a tour of the facility, you come to understand all that goes into making his wonderful pieces of art - and his furniture really is art. Highly recommend taking the time to visit while in Asheville.
