  • Once you are into the Biltmore grounds, do not forget to visit the winery and the Village. It's composed of ice cream and coffee shop, a couple of restaurants and the winery. You can invest 1 or 2...  more »
  • The visit at the winery was the finale of our tour in the Biltmore estate. My Friend and I opted to visit first the house museum owned by the Vanderbilts because it closes earlier than the winery...  more »

  • My husband and I have been many times and still have not seen everything. We just went through the museum two days ago and enjoyed seeing personal family items along with background information on these pieces. There is ample parking, plenty of places to eat and lots of outdoor seating so you can relax and enjoy a slower pace. We plan on visiting the Winery on our next visit.
  • My mom and I booked a rafting excursion which starts at the outdoor center in Antler Hill Village. You are told to check in 15 min early but we were ok arriving 5 minutes beforehand because we couldn’t find parking or the outdoor center. Roy was our rafting guide and Sam was our driver. We were able to leave extra stuff in the van that drove us to the drop off point so that was nice. The rafting trip is more of a float down the French abroad, but you see lots of birds (saw a HUGE blue heron just sitting on the banks). You can get in the water if you want but since it was the first cool day of September we stayed in the boat. You also get to see views of the house you wouldn’t see from anywhere else. Relaxing trip!
