  • Botanical Gardens in Los Angeles County. The sensory size is about two to three pieces of Tokyo Dome. A lot of people have come for a walk in the morning. The specialty here is wild peacocks. When you go in the spring morning, you will be greeted with a full of feathers. The garden is also beautiful and many flowers are in bloom. If you like nature, I recommend it. If not, through. If you come from Japan and like nature, we will guide you to the Huntington Library and here as a set. PS Please do not bring your own food. There is a person who writes that it is possible by other word of mouth, but it is a mistake.

  • The LA Arboretum is a beautiful place to spend an afternoon or a quick walk. I have been going to the Arobretum for about 18 years. It is different in every season and they continue to change some of ...  more »
  • This place is beautiful! The Arboretum is an oasis in an otherwise busy area. Totally became a member. It was supposed to be the busiest time of day, but the place is big enough that it didn't feel crowded at all... Mind you it was a hundred degrees on the day I was there, but it never felt like there was too many people there. Every one of the staff members I encountered were delightful. I can't wait to go back and spend some time really exploring.
  • A beautiful facility that has trees and plants from around the world. Numerous trails meander through landscapes representing Asia, Africa, and Australia as well as Europe and North America. Most of the plants are labeled with a handful that have more detailed explanations. The old estate house is located on the property and is easily recognizable to fans of the 1970s show Fantasy Island. A holdover from the days as a private estate are the dozens of peafowl that roam the landscape. The males are often seen displaying their trademark plumage when a female pea hen walks by. Worth a half-day wander through the lush landscape but beware of watering from sprinklers in the morning.
