We are London’s inland dive site, very conveniently situated between junctions 13 and 14 of the M25, close to the M3 and M4 motorways. Wraysbury mainline station is a 2 minute walk away and of course Heathrow Airport is close by.

A 15-acre lake for the sole purpose of diving used by the majority of schools and clubs in the South of England for their diver training, Wraysbury Dive Centre has all the associated facilities you will need for a good days diving. We are one of only two full time inland dive sites open 7 days a week and also provide a heated building for the use of both dry and wet divers.

Wraysbury's not just for training! We are an ideal location to continue your diving experience and confidence in a controlled environment, testing that new equipment or just having fun whether you are an open water diver or techie. We have placed many attractions in the lake for your enjoyment – spot the Thorpe Park Rangers – platforms at various depths and we are lucky to have carp, perch, tench and pike, all of which are very friendly. All you need to do is turn up, pay your £10 entrance fee and dive all day!

We are also an IDEST Approved Cylinder Testing Centre and can service most makes of regulators and Suunto dive computers on site.

Want to get your PADI or looking to continue your dive education? Wraysbury is a PADI 5 Star IDC Centre, TDI/SDI Instructor Trainer Centre and a SSI Dive Centre. This allows us to offer a huge array of diver courses from entry level all the way to Instructor.

  • Fantastic dive centre with super friendly staff and well run courses. Completed my AOWD here a couple of years ago and back again to complete my Rescue Diver course recently, couldn't fault the dive.....  more »
  • Thank you for my dive instruction today. I booked in for a 'back to basics' buoyancy and drysuit lesson with Yvonne, to refresh and update my dive skills and get advice. Kitted up, then full safety.....  more »

  • Would encourage everyone interested in completing their PADI open water to go here direct with Wraysbury Dive Centre. : Great location Good gear to use and hire (great dry suits for UK weather).Very well looked after high quality gear! Friendly and honest staff - You see some reviews moaning but what I liked is they told the truth, it was never a tick box exercise!! I want to be told if I did something wrong!!! They were encouraging, patient, kind and honest. If you want to learn and be SAFE in the water then this is where you should come. My partner struggled with some areas and the team, at no extra charge, had him do another full day with them for free to ensure he had mastered all the skills. How can anyone moan at that! Beautiful lake and if divers keep off and don’t land on the bottom then the visibility is great! I was able to clearly see fish, ship wrecks a bus and taxi and more!!! Great yummy food and drinks available on site and yes may be a bit basic but warm clean and delicious!!! A real family atmosphere for young and old beginners and advanced!
  • Wraysbury Dive Centre has a great set up and the staff are really helpful. There is a good value shop with lots of honest advice on hand. For instructors there are plenty of training platforms, a confined water area for hire (free in the week) and a classroom. For those who are just splashing in then move away from the training platforms and there's plenty to see and good viz to be found. The cave system is a good training/practice area. Air fills are decent value and quick. Remember to take a tenner to pay the entry as you drive in, and cash for the air fills. It can get pretty busy at the weekends in the summer but we just keep to the further reaches of the lake and it's all good.
