  • A vast estate with much to do and many parks and fields to walk around. The lake, in particular, is a good place to start.  more »

  • A lovely large park. You can walk for miles if you want to. There's a beautiful lake to walk or cycle round. A great place for a picnic. Clearly very popular with dog owners! There are a few small vendors to buy a sandwich, cake, or a hot drink from. There are toilets. No big old house though as it was demolished many years ago after a fire. Just a few nice outbuildings and a church. I really liked it and would recommend it for a good walk. You have to book in advance at present as it's very popular.
  • My local place for a walk. So many paths can be walked to get short or longer walks. The lakeside path is the busiest at about 4 miles. Bike hire is popular. Cafes at each end of Lake. Superb kitchen garden and greenhouse.
