  • On the whole disappointing. Staff not well informed and poor attitude. Asked several where the display was going to be (indoors or outdoors) because of the inclement weather. Response was a shrug that they didn't know but one or the other, and this was 10 minutes beforehand. Reception not very welcoming and didn't give any information of day's events. Display was reasonably good although only real enthusiasm from one of the 3 handlers. Other 2 were difficult to hear. Birds impressive however. Overall, the entire place was a little tired, in need of some love and care and got the impression of an establishment in slow decline. Reptile house also disappointing, not well maintained and concerns about welfare of animals. A better staff attitude would help enormously, apathy breeds apathy. A shame because a charity striving to do good work, but could do much better......
  • What a totally amazing and lovely place. The staff are so friendly and the bird shows were really entertaining. The kids also had a lovely time. Will come back again.
