  • A wonderful but private island famed for its history of music. Nice setting on the Thames. You can cross the bridge but that's it. Their are open days sometimes that will give you access.  more »
  • We walked here after our visit to the Orleans House Gallery on a rainy Saturday afternoon, its very pleasant walking by the river even when its raining!  more »
  • My home for the last twenty odd years. It's a wonderful community without the hustle and bustle of London. Handy if you love rugby as well.
  • Eel Pie Island is chaotically beautiful. It simultaneously inspires and calms my very being. It has been a source of influence for many artists, musicians and masters for decades. When you walk through here it makes no sense at all; it is messy but tidy, cluttered but ordered, disturbed but sane.
