Garden · Nature / Park
‘One of the finest gardens in England’ the award winning gardens at Pashley offer a sumptuous blend of romantic landscaping, imaginative plantings and fine trees, fountains and ponds. Whenever you visit there is something to delight the senses - from bluebells and tulips, to roses and lilies, then dahlias and asters.

As well as the coming to see the beautiful gardens ‘allow time to sample the fabulous homemade food and warm hospitality at arguably the best garden café in the county, much of which is sourced from the abundant kitchen garden’ (Leigh Clapp, Sussex Life).

Special events include the Tulip Festival - a spectacular display of over 20,000 tulips in the gardens and 2,000 cut tulips in vases with representatives from Bloms Bulbs on site to answer questions and take bulb orders. Later in the season other events include the Rose Weekend when hundreds of roses are out in the gardens and Peter Beales roses are at Pashley with a wonderful selection of potted roses for sale. There will also be a Plant and Garden Fair, a season long Sculpture and Art exhibition, a Kitchen Garden Weekend and the Sussex Guild craft show.

The Gardens, Café and Gift Shop are open from 30th March – 28th September 2013

  • Very pleasant couple of hours wandering around the gardens. Thought that the entrance fee of £11:00 per person was reasonable but £11:05 for two filter coffees, a slice of coffee & walnut cake and a slice of blueberry and apple crumble was a bit steep. Both very tasty however!
  • A neat and tidy garden, nicely weeded and well kept, it’s such a pleasure to walk around. It’s probably so tidy because it’s not to big to manage, but all credit to the staff who work here because they are the ones he make it so nice. Super terrace cafe, love it here, my favourite garden to date.
