  • We visited Stonehaven on a beautiful day and it was quite charming to walk around the harbour watching the little fishing boats being prepared before sailing out for another day's catch.  more »
  • This was a great place to eat our deep-fried Mars Bars. There are loads of benches around the area with great views, and there are also some public toilets.  more »
  • Photogenic fishing village close to Aberdeen and Dunottar castle. Quaint shops and cafes and lovely sandy beach. Some spectacular views on cliff walk to the castle taking in the war memorial on the way. Quirky museum by the seafront is free and worth popping into. You can get a good meal and a fine Scottish ale at the Ship Inn also at the quay.
  • Favourite spot of ours. Park in the public car park, then walk along the boardwalk round the bay and back before going on to the dog friendly Ship Inn for coffees. Well maintained public toilets by the car park, and lots of activity in the harbour.
