  • The abbey is extensive and definitely worth seeing The cafe is fabulous! Very fresh and extremely tasty offerings. We sat outdoors overlooking the Abbey. Perfect!  more »
  • Worth a visit though not a huge amount of the Abbey remains. You get a good idea of the importance of the site and why it was chosen. Interesting little visitors centre with some very early Christian stonework examples on display. The cafe looks good though it has somewhat become the main attraction in that you have to walk through it to get to the visitors centre.
  • Nice place to walk around and historical interest. Can take the dog or small children. Has lake across the road with resident Swans and Geese. It only takes half an hour to walk around. Has nice cafe but dogs only aloud outside. Also small mill around the corner, makes own bread the traditional way, pick up a loaf on your way home 😊
