Visited The Gate today for a light lunch. Lots to choose from but decided to have a Ham & Cheese Toastier. It can with homemade coleslaw. Potato salad and salad. It was extremely tasty and great... more »

Breakfast here two days running. Cannot fault the standard of food, cooking, or staff. Just as good as previous visit in May and look forward to next time. more »

Fantastic lunch had here. Everything freshly made and brought to the table with a smile and humour. The home made cakes are sensational. We had the carrot and apricot. It was so good we asked if we could order a whole one for our parents 50th wedding anniversary. They did this for us with a days notice. Thoroughly recommend this cafe.
