  • This is a lovely place and not to miss if you are visiting Shrewsbury! There's a children's park close by with a water park which is open in summer, lovely walk along the river too leading to bars and restaurants and to river boat ride too, there is a swimming pool too and close to the centre do a great day out for all the family!
  • Beautiful Park and gardens. There are many entrances into the park each very beautiful and different. There's a memorial garden for the Queen's Mother, a bandstand, the Dingle several beautiful sculptures and statues. There's so much to see in the park it's s wonderful place with a fantastic vibe. The park has a garden called the Dingle this was where Percy Thrower the gardening legend worked for many years in Shrewsbury, he lived in the small house which is also located inside the park gates pop St Chad's Cathedral. The river Severn runs through the park and it's great to sit and watch the activities on the water too, regatta, coracle racing, the Sabrina boat and the canoes which can be hired. Lots more too but the Dingle gardens is a definite must.
